This was our first home we have ever built so naturally we were doing our research to find out who a great builder would be to build this home. We know a couple from our church who was building a house at the same time we were doing our research. We asked them about their builder and they said they loved them. We decided to meet with Brian Benton to see if he was the right guy for the job. After meeting Brian the first time, my wife and I knew that this is a guy we can trust since he was genuinely honest and laid-back and made us feel like we had known him for years. From the very beginning of this whole process Brian communicated so clearly and effectively which made it very easy to affirm our decision to go with him. Honestly, I don’t know when he sleeps since he is so quick at responding to emails. So they started building the house and every single one of the subcontractors (well, except one which he does not use anymore) were top notch. Their work was completed in a very timely manner and done to exceed my expectations which are very high. This all would not have been possible had it not been for a wonderful general contractor by the name of Fred Nader. Fred has the same passion about building that I do about life and it showed in every single interaction with him. Him and his wife Lynn are fantastic to work with and make building a home so enjoyable. They really know how to give great and sound advice to anyone regardless if it is your first time building a home or if you have done this 10 times before. Now obviously you are going to have some hiccups while building a home because nothing ever goes perfectly. However, I will say when something did not go right Brian and Fred ALWAYS made it right, even if it costs them money. They are men of their word and are willing to go above and beyond to make your home the way it should be. I can’t say enough great things about these gentlemen. What really makes a huge difference is that Brian stands by his work. He stood by his work 1 year after the house was complete. All other builders would never offer that! And might I add, the few things we did call him for about getting fixed within our year warranty, he had his sub contractors out here promptly to make it right. I’m glad I waited till we were in the house one full year after it had been completed to write this review so I could give an honest review on how Brian and Fred do business and to see if they stood by their word. They did. They went above and beyond anything we could ever imagine. I seriously love these guys and they will always have a special place in my family’s heart (and a room in our house to stay if they ever need it). If we ever build a house again, or 10 houses, I would choose Brian and Fred to do it all over again every single time. They do not disappoint.
