Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in College Park, Maryland home of the University of Maryland and the Terripins. Love being in the company of people and worked mainly accounting jobs until my Husband and I sold our first home together. That did it. I was hooked on the process of making the home ready and looking for the buyer. A local realtor did all of our paperwork and my announcement was that this is the business for me. That was 1974 in Vienna, Virginia. However, I waited until the children were raised and out of the house to take the class and place my license. So December, 1989 entered the world of real estate and love it. Worked with Long and Foster Realtors in Vienna, Virginia for 8 years before relocating to Marshville, North Carolina in 1996. Secured my license in 1997 for a property management company in Monroe, and stayed with them for 4 years doing a bit of selling as a part time agent. I have a good eye for furniture placement and understand what it takes to make the home ready for new eyes to see the benefits of the property. The process for listing a home is key to the marketing and ultimate goal of a sale.
People are unique and come in all shapes and from different walks of life. Making a match with a property is very rewarding even without the prospect of a pay check. It is thrilling to help people get what they want.
